Biography:

Philip Oliphant grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and attended Little Rock Central High. He has also lived in California, New York, and Iowa, as well as Nashville, Tennessee and has lived in Memphis, Tennessee since 2006. He earned his MBA at UCLA and worked as both a corporate banker and a database developer in the New York banking industry for many years.

Mid-career, inspired by the unfortunate events of 9/11/2001, Philip returned to school and obtained his law degree at Vanderbilt University. His goal was, and is, to use his skills to contribute to making this a better world. He has worked as a law clerk in the federal court system, Assistant City Attorney for the City of Memphis, and as a civil litigator.

Since 2019, Philip has been dedicated exclusively to the practice of employment law, fighting for his clients to get them the justice they deserve. Philip’s primary focus is on wage and hour issues, family and medical leave, and wrongful discrimination.

Outside of work, Philip enjoys artisanal baking, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
